More than 60 pavilions and 100 workshops and webinars were organised for visitors of all ages to gain fun-filled experience and raise public awareness of the importance of innovation and technology to the economic and social development of Hong Kong.

Themed on “Innovate Together in the New Normal”, HKSTP’s Virtual Pavilion summed up the outstanding achievements of our 20 partner companies and took the audience on an innovation journey with creative I&T solutions that leverage the rising opportunities in the new normal, to make our life smarter and better in future. The pavilion showcased a wide variety of innovations from smart health to smart living including mental health keeper, self-sanitising door handle, 3D printed metal technology and so forth, attracted over 10,000 visits throughout the period.

Other highlights included the first-ever Innothon Virutal 10k 2020 which aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and keep the passion of running in light of the pandemic. Runners experienced a virtual run at their own time and choice of route!
